Meeting to set up a pilot project related to the digitalization of the Locodjro Equipped Landing Point
In a context marked by the need to modernize fisheries value chains in Africa, the digitalization of equipped landing points appears as a strategic lever. It aims in particular to improve product traceability, optimise data, facilitate flow management and contribute to better governance of the fisheries sector.
It is in this dynamic that INFOPÊCHE organized, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at its headquarters, a technical meeting devoted to the pilot project for digitizing the Equipped Landing Point (PDA) of Locodjro.
This meeting was attended by Mr. Atsé Casimir Éric AKAFFOU, Director of the institution, assisted by four of his collaborators, as well as the Coordinator of the Landing Project, Mr. SOFFO Valentin, accompanied by two members of his team.
The exchanges focused on the analysis of the technical, organizational and operational conditions necessary for the implementation of this digitalization. To this end, a first phase is currently under study.
This initiative is part of INFOPÊCHE’s commitment to promote innovative and sustainable solutions for the development of the fisheries sector, in line with contemporary challenges of modernization and competitiveness.
