2nd Regional Seminar on the Development of Aquaculture.

INFOPÊCHE takes part in the 2nd Regional Seminar on Aquaculture Development, held from August 4 to 6, 2025, in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. This global event co-organized by JICA, the CPCO and MIRAH brings together key players in the aquaculture sector of the region to discuss the development of aquaculture in Africa.

During the first day of this seminar, in addition to the other speakers, Mr. AKAFFOU Casimir Eric, Director of INFOPÊCHE, presented the MACPPA project, an innovative e-commerce platform dedicated to the marketing of fishery and aquaculture products.

This initiative, which is a major reform in the marketing sector of fisheries products, aims to strengthen regional integration, improve the visibility of local products, and facilitate trade between countries on the African continent.

The participation of INFOPÊCHE in this seminar demonstrates its constant commitment to the sustainable development of fisheries and aquaculture in Africa, and its active role in promoting digital solutions for fisheries sectors.
